community projects
Alongside creating theatre shows, we deliver community projects with local organisations
who support vulnerable groups in the area.
We have been developing our ‘Women of Wonder’ programme since 2021.
At the time, we were creating our theatre show ‘Hags: A Magical Extravaganza’ - a show which explores how society ostracised and scapegoated women during England’s last witch trial of 1682 and how it still echoes today. We wanted to work with women in our community and provide a place where creative expression and wellbeing are prioritised and friendships are developed.
Since then we have been offering workshops with our network of community partners.
This has developed into 2 longer running programmes. You can find out more about these below.
