You’ve heard of the animal kingdom, with tigers and sharks and humans too…?And the plant kingdom, with trees and flowers and grass?
But there is a kingdom full of mysteries……FUNGI!
There are blue ones and spotty ones and smelly ones!
The Mushroom Show is Scratchworks’ latest production (which is still in development)!
A family show for ages 5+, The Mushroom Show explores the brilliant world of fungi, what they can do, and what we humans can learn from their brilliance, but… we need your help to do so!
Blending audience interaction, games, original music and physical storytelling, Augustine (our mushroom enthusiast!) will take us back to nature, to show us the importance of community and how we can ask for help.
The Mushroom Show will also come with a post-show workshop for everyone to get involved!
Throughout August & September 2024, we have been developing The Mushroom Show with the support of Arts Council England, Doorstep Arts, Beaford, Theatre Alibi & Libraries Unlimited.
The Mushroom Show will finish being developed in 2025 and head out on tour throughout Spring/Summer 2025. You’ll find it outdoors, indoors, in community halls & libraries, and many many more places and spaces.
